{CATEGORY-GENERATION} Updated: 02/18/2013

Categories and subcategories have a generation level, starting at 0 for the root level category. For example:

Category 1: Generation level of 0
Subcategory 1: Generation level of 1
Subcategory 2: Generation level of 2
Subcategory 3: Generation level of 3
                etc.

This QuickCode Tag creates a transparent spacer image to the left of the category name, and defines how wide the image is based on the parameter given to the tag. This is what causes the indentation of the subcategories.

Requirements / Prerequisites

The tag uses a pixel width parameter, and takes the GENERATION LEVEL x PARAMETER, to create the spacer image. By default, the tag defaults to a parameter of 0, so in order for the tag to create spacer images larger than 0 pixels wide, a parameter must be defined.

Example of Use

If the QuickCode Tag were defined as {CATEGORY-GENERATION:20}, it would take the generation level of the subcategory(ies), and multiply it by 20 pixels.

Category One (gen level 0) x 20 = 0 pixel wide image
    Subcategory One (gen level 1) x 20 = 20 pixel wide image
        Subcategory Two (gen level 2) x 20 = 40 pixel wide image
