QC: {REVIEW-SID}

The {REVIEW-SID} QuickCode Tag may be used to display the SID number of a product review. When a product review is submitted, a unique SID number is assigned to the review, and it is added to the shopping cart database.

{REVIEW-SID} might be added to the product review section of the product template for testing and development purposes, but would rarely if ever be used in the store's live template package.

Requirements / Prerequisites

The {REVIEW-SID} QuickCode Tag is compatible with the product template (product.tpl) only.

{REVIEW-SID} must be located between {REVIEW-BLOCK-BEGIN} and {REVIEW-BLOCK-END}, which should in turn be placed between {IF-REVIEWS-BEGIN} and {IF-REVIEWS-END}.

It is recommended to always place any content related to product reviews between the {IF-USING-PRODUCT-REVIEWS-BEGIN} and {IF-USING-PRODUCT-REVIEWS-END} QuickCode Tags, so that the content will be shown when the store's Product Reviews Module is enabled, but hidden if the store's Product Reviews Module is disabled.

1. Add the following to the store's product template (product.tpl):

2. If the store's Product Review Module is enabled, and the "Blue T-Shirt" product has five approved reviews, the "Blue T-Shirt" product page will display the following:
