If PayPal has been set up in the store's administration area at [Admin > System Settings > Merchant Account Settings] and is available as a payment option, then this tag will display a button to allow the customer to pay with PayPal.

Using this QuickCode Tag to generate the PayPal button will allow the store to save a copy of the order record before the customer leaves your store website to complete their order on PayPal's site. This prevents the order from potentially getting lost if there is an issue in the communication between the shopping cart and PayPal.

This tag is designed to be used within an HTML form on any checkout page.

The image that this button displays can be changed by modifying the value of the "src" element of the image input tag.
If the value of any of the other elements of the image input tag are changed, then the button will no longer function as intended.
