QC: {CURRENCY-EXCHANGE-RATE}

This QuickCode Tag displays the exchange rate between the selected currency from the dropdown menu (created from the {FIELD-CURRENCY-MENU}), compared to the default currency type the store uses. In other words, it compares the exchange rate between the selected currency type to the one specified in the System Settings.

Requirements / Prerequisites

Must be used between the {IF-CURRENCY-OVERRIDE-BEGIN} and {IF-CURRENCY-OVERRIDE-END} tags.

Example of Use

If the System Settings are set to use the US Dollar, and the currency type selected from the dropdown is the Canadian Dollar, it will display the exchange rate between the two.

If the currency exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Canadian Dollar was 1 US Dollar to 1.0011 Canadian Dollars, the tag would display it as: $1 USD = $1.0011 CAD
