QC: {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-FILE}

The {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-FILE} QuickCode Tag may be use to add an audio control to a storefront page, which visitors may use to stream an MP3 that has been assigned as a product audio sample.

Audio samples are assigned to products through the Audio Samples options in the Digital Delivery section of the Product Editor.

Requirements / Prerequisites

The {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-FILE} QuickCode Tag must be placed between the {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-BEGIN} and {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-END} QuickCode Tags.

{DIGITAL-SAMPLE-FILE} is compatible with the product template (product.tpl), and may also be used in other HTML templates, as long as it (and its surrounding {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-BEGIN} and {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-END}) are placed within one of the following QuickCode Blocks:

Content between {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-BEGIN} and {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-END} will be added to the page once for each of the product's audio samples, so when {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-FILE} is included in the content between {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-BEGIN} and {DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BLOCK-END}, an audio control will be added to the page for each of the product's audio samples.

It is recommended to place content related to audio samples between {IF-DIGITAL-SAMPLE-BEGIN} and {IF-DIGITAL-SAMPLE-END}, so that the content will be displayed if the product does have at least one audio sample, but hidden if the product does not have any audio samples.

1. Add the following to the store home template (index.tpl or store_home.tpl):
