This tag will be translated into the HTML and JavaScript code provided by Google to record the traffic statistics for the web page in your Google Analytics account area. This QuickCode tag can be used on both insecure and secure web pages (that is, both "http://" and "https://" pages).

It's recommended that this QuickCode tag be used in the HTML templates for all store pages that you would like to record traffic statistics for. (The only exception is the HTML template for the receipt page. There is a separate Google Analytics QuickCode Tag for use on the receipt page, which will pass the transaction data to your Google Analytics account.)

A Google Analytics account is required to use this QuickCode Tag.
A value must be entered in the "Google Analytics ID" field in the "Google Analytics Integration" module.

The recommended place in the source code to put this Quickcode tag is right before the closing body tag:
