{FIELD-SEARCH} Updated: 07/2/2009

Displays a text field in which the customer can type in phrases to search for in your store. This tag only generates the text field; it does not generate the HTML <form> tag or submit button.

Requirements / Prerequisites

This QuickCode tag must be used in an HTML form.

Example of Use
  1. The following content in the web page's template:
    <form action="search_results.php" method="post" name="search_form" id="search_form">
    Search: {FIELD-SEARCH}
    <input name="search_submit" type="submit" id="search_submit" value="Search" /></td>
  2. Will display the following when viewing that web page in the storefront:

To customize this field, create a CSS style titled FIELD-SEARCH. The form button generated by this QuickCode Tag will then inherit the attributes of that style.

For example: To make the quantity field 20 pixels wide with red text, add this style to your CSS rules:

<style type="text/css">
color: #FF0000;
width: 20px;
